Course Placement Recommendations
Since the implementation of CA Assembly Bill 705 (AB705), Foothill College uses multiple measures – high school transcripts and guided self-placement assessments– to make recommendations for taking your first Math, English, ESLL, and Chemistry courses.
For more information about Chemistry 1A Placement, see our Chemistry 1A Placement Survey.

Ability to Benefit (ATB) Exam
If you plan to take the ATB Exam, you are required to have a note from the Financial Aid Office verifying that you are eligible for the exam.
For more information regarding Ability to Benefit (ATB) email fhtesting@fhda.edu or call (650) 949-7743.
Test Proctoring Request Form
Our Testing Center offers proctoring for students who need to make up exams. If you can't attend a scheduled on-campus exam due to a conflict or absence, please have your instructor fill out and submit the Test Proctor Request Form.
Please note: The Testing & Assessment Center will confirm your request based on availability.
Accommodated Testing
Accommodations or Course Adjustments/Auxiliary Aids provide equitable access to classroom instruction, materials, programs, or facilities; and are determined on an individual basis by the Disability Resource Center (DRC).
