I enjoy the teaching and sharing in the classroom. In addition to the formal class
materials/lecture/quizzes/case writing, I'll share my work experiences with you and
you'll share your business experiences with your classmates.
Welcome to the world of Business Administration and all the great concentrations like:
Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Accounting, Data Analytics, Management, etc.
Schedule:
My schedule changes depending on the assignment. If I'm on campus, I'll teach Mondays
and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays.
If I'm teaching an online course, then I'm online many hours a day and check email
frequently.
I'll always be available to meet and talk, in-person on campus, on Zoom, by phone,
or just old-fashioned email. Whatever works for you!
Course Information:
I teach Principles of Business Busi 22; Fundamentals of Human Resources Busi 87; Fundamentals
of Personal Finance Busi 45; and sometimes Principles of Marketing.
Interests:
I've always enjoyed traveling on planes and hanging out at airports. For me, it's
about the journey and not just the destination.
Places I've traveled include Taiwan ROC, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore,
Japan, Ireland, South Korea, and Canada. Everyone should see the rest of the world,
meet new people, and learn about other cultures.
Office Hours:
I've an office on campus and office hours are posted in the course syllabus. Let me
know if you want to meet on campus.
Bio:
I'm a product the the California Community College and California State University
system. I grew up in Monterey, CA which is about 100 miles south of Silicon Valley.
I can say: "hello, how are you, goodbye, thank you, cheers/to your health, and I'm
fine" in 16 languages. Being able to say a few words in a different language breaks-the-ice
and makes people smile!
