Greetings! I'm Katrina, originally from Morris, MN, and a proud alumna of Cal Berkeley,
where I pursued my undergraduate studies. My academic journey led me to a Masters
in Marriage and Family Therapy, specializing in Gestalt Therapy.
Diving into the world of competitive swimming, I dedicated numerous years to training,
proudly representing the United States in international competitions, including the
1988 Olympics. This experience fueled my lifelong fascination with human motivation,
exploring our true limits, and understanding what is achievable.
Currently, I channel my passion into educating and empowering others. As a faculty
member at Foothill College, I teach General Psychology, Psychology of Sport, and Human
Sexuality. I relish the opportunity to connect with students through online platforms,
making my classes academically enriching while helping students feel like they personally
transformed their own life through my course. By the end of the course, my aim is
for students to feel more self-aware, and motivated to maximize who they really want
to be.
