Linda Neff is a passionate anthropologist and archaeologist, dedicated to uncovering
the rich stories of humanity through her research and fieldwork. With a lifelong curiosity
for understanding people and cultures, she earned her BS in Biological Anthropology
and Geomorphology from the University of New Mexico, where she studied under the renowned
Dr. Erik Trinkhaus. Later, she pursued an MA in Anthropology at Northern Arizona University,
focusing on the landscapes and peoples of the American Southwest and Mesoamerica.
Linda’s journey in archaeology has been deeply rooted in the belief that history is
not just a collection of artifacts but a way to connect with those who came before
us. Her work on Yavapai Settlement Patterns in the Verde Valley and the Prehistoric
and Protohistoric Settlement at Turkey Tanks near Flagstaff, Arizona, reflects her
commitment to bringing these stories to light in her online classrooms. Currently
a doctoral candidate at Arizona State University in Educational Leadership and Innovation,
Linda continues to inspire curiosity and foster connections with our shared past.
