About the LRC Tutoring for STEM program
In-Person Tutoring Now in 3600
All in-person STEM and Writing and Language tutoring services will be held in the 3600 building — with the exception of some extended in-person STEM tutoring services held in the Foundations Lab (room 4201) and extended Writing and Language services in the Linguistic Justice Lab (6409).
Hours subject to quarterly availability. Check out our Canvas schedules for most current hours.
We offer drop-in tutoring both onsite and online (via ZOOM), during the regular academic year (Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters). Our tutors are scheduled throughout the day to help you one-on-one. Don't be stuck or fall behind. Take advantage of this wonderful free service Foothill College makes available to all students. We hope to see you soon!
Registered Students, Faculty, and Staff --> How to access the latest schedule
Registered students, faculty, and staff can access information about the LRC Tutoring services, including the schedule, as follows:
- Click the Student Support Portal via CANVAS, then click "More Info" on the Tutoring Tile
- Click "Foothill Tutoring" menu option in your CANVAS course.
Online Tutoring Service
We use Zoom to pair you with a tutor. You'll need a quiet space and a computer with a microphone to participate.
We offer tutoring for the following STEM subjects:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Computer Science
- Math
- Physics
- Other subjects also offered, depending on the quarter.
All tutoring services are free in our Learning Resource Center (LRC).
