About the Program

A business degree or certificate can provide you with the knowledge and skills to start your own company or pursue studies in a more specialized field. 

I chose to study business at Foothill because it’s a foot above the rest!

Our courses cover everything from marketing and management to finance and international business.

Our classes are taught by local industry leaders, venture capitalists and entrepreneurs.  

Numerous entry-level positions are available for students pursuing a degree or certificate in business.

2025 Foothill Innovation Challenge

Innovative Ideas With Social Impact — Focus is on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Education

SAVE THE DATE:  Final Challenge Rounds on Thursday, May 29, Noon-5 p.m. in the Dining Hall.

This spring, the 2025 Foothill Innovation Challenge invites students to bring their ingenuity, entrepreneurial mindset, passion and innovative thinking to identify problems that face communities in need, and to develop sustainable business ideas that will solve those problems and positively impact the community.

Attend the first workshop INSPIRE on Wednesday, April 23, 3:30-5 p.m in Toyon Room (2020) on to prepare for your submission. Learn more about the competition here.
