Paramedic Program Schedule

Classes will be held Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This course is designed for students who have worked as EMT's for at least 3 months at full-time capacity.

  • During the first quarter, students meet for 8-hour lectures one day a week and 8-hour labs one day a week.
  • During the second quarter, students also attend specialty rotations and attend cadaver lab.
  • During the third quarter, students meet for lectures and labs.
  • During the fourth quarter, students attend ED Clinical rotations.
  • In the fifth and sixth quarters, students attend their Field Internship for their final phase of the program. The Field Internship requires between between 480 and 720 hours of patient care, which accounts for the variable length of time in finishing the program.

We make every attempt to maintain this schedule, but in the event of unforseen circumstances, the Program Director reserves the right to make changes.

We are located at the Foothill College Sunnyvale Center,  1070 Innovation Way, Sunnyvale CA  94089.
