Global Experiential Learning
Planning for future Global Experiential Learning programs
Seeking Input for Study Abroad Locations and Themes
Do you have ideas for Study Abroad travel destinations, program themes, and length — similar in structure to our past programs, including Spring in Florence, Italy, Fall in London, England, and Spring in Kyoto, Japan?
Are you interested in becoming a faculty lead on a 2025-2026 Foothill study abroad program?
Have you developed a shorter-term, faculty-led program that would engage students in a summer experiential learning opportunity?
Submit an Interest Form!
As we plan for future Global Experiential Learning programs, we'd love to hear from you! Share your interest and/or program ideas here by completing our faculty interest
form.
Program Proposals and Faculty Lead Applications
If you are interested in pitching a faculty-led/designed global epxeriential learning program for Foothill students and/or the boader community, similar to the Spring Environmental Justice in Cuba program, or the Summer Anthropology Field Schools, please reach out to the Global Experiential Learning Office to receive a proposal template and support for completing the form.
If you are interested in applying to be one of the two faculty leads on our 8 or 9-week Spring 2026 study abroad (formerly called Campus Abroad) program please contact email us at globalexperiences@fhda.edu. Destinations will be announced in January 2025, and applications will be due in March!
