ASFC Budget and Fund Request Process

2026-2027 Budget Request Process

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT REQUEST

Friday, Jan. 30 at noon is the deadline to submit ASFC budget requests for next academic year.

If funds are granted in this process, your organization will have a line item in the 2026-2027 ASFC budget booklet. Generally, the amount requested is for recurring costs related to campus events, programs, or services that support Foothill College students.

STEPS TO SUBMIT YOUR REQUEST

The deadline to submit ASFC Budget Requests is Friday, Jan. 30, 2026 at Noon, 12 p.m.

1. Fill out the 2026-2027 Budget Request Form entirely.
2. Email completed budget requests as attachments to both:
   
   • Owen Ryan, VP of Finance, asfc.owenr@gmail.com
   • Isha Vyas, ASFC Secretary, asfc.ishav@gmail.com
     NOTE: Please use the following subject line: 2026-2027 BUDGET REQUEST - Your Organization Name 
3. Attend ASFC Finance Budget Hearings on following dates:
   
   • Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026  at 2-4 p.m.
   • Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026 at 2-4 p.m.
     NOTE: Our hearings will be hybrid, with the option to attend in-person or virtually. The VP of Finance will assign a 15 minute time slot for each presenter. 
4. CHECK YOUR EMAIL for updates. The Finance Board will contact you in May following approval by the Board of Trustees.

ASFC Fund Requests for 2025-2026

For fund requests that occur during the 2025-26 academic year, please follow the Fund Request Process below:

If you are submitting a fund request, you MUST...

1. Fill out the Fund Request Form entirely 
2. Email asfc.owenr@gmail.com AND asfc.ishav@gmail.com with the filled out form form attached. Start the subject line with FUND REQUEST - Your Organization 
3. Attend Finance Board on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Council Chambers room 2018.
4. CHECK YOUR EMAIL for updates. 

Fund Requests MUST be submitted before Thursday 12 p.m. to be considered for the Campus Council meeting that week.

Any fund requests submitted after Thursday 12 p.m. will be considered for the following week's Campus Council meeting.
