Application for Elected ASFC Officers 2024-2025

2025-2026 Dates and Deadlines

Before Completing the Application

To be eligible to run for ASFC Office, you must:

  • Be currently enrolled in at least 8 units at Foothill College, and maintain that throughout the next academic year (2025-2026).
  • Have paid your student body fee and be an OwlCard holder.
  • Have a quarterly and cumulative grade point average of 2.0, and must maintain that throughout the next academic year (2025-2026).

If elected to ASFC Office, you must:

  • Serve 4 quarters (summer through spring 2025-2026)
  • Be available for online training throughout the rest of spring quarter 2025.
  • Be available Sept. 8–17, 2025 for planning & training before fall quarter.

Dates and Deadlines to Remember

Attend a Candidate Informatoin Session

Choose from either date and attend on campus or by Zoom:

  • Tuesday,  April 15, 2025 at Noon • In Person •  Alto Room 2019
  • Wednesday,  April 16, 2025 at 1 p.m. • Join by Zoom
  • Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 2 p.m. In Person in Toyon Room (2020). Note: This is an informational item during the Campus Council Meeting.

Submit Your Application Online by the Deadline

  • Thursday, April 17, 2025 by 11:59 pm. — including your 100-word statement/bio to appear on the election ballot. Email your ballot photo (100x100 px) and video (one-minute or less) to asfc.ishav@fhda.edu AND smalldaphne@fhda.edu.

Campaign Week Begins

  • Tuesday, April 22, 2025 — Optional design services for promotional material are available through the ASFC Design Center: design_center@foothill.edu
    Important: No campaigning or candidate promotion of any kind is permitted before April 22.

Online Voting Begins

  • Opens Monday, April 28 at 8 a.m.
  • Closes Wednesday, April 30 at 11:59 p.m. midnight.

By submitting this form, you commit to the requirements and deadlines listed above.

  • You also commit to the position descriptions on the previous page, and acknowledge the time commitments and duties described.
  • If elected, you will be held to these standards, and if you fail to meet the requirements, you may face impeachment.
  • You also agree to work with the incumbent officer for training through the rest of the quarter.
  • You agree to work with the newly elected cabinet and ASFC advisor to plan for the coming year.
  • By submitting this form, you agree to abide by the virtual elections code.
