- Cost: $3100 (included, housing, meals, activities, and airfare out of SFO).
- Participants will take Econ 54H—a 1-unit seminar on Global Poverty (tuition not included in the $3100 above)

About the Program
Participants will spend thirteen days volunteering in the mountainous village of El Astillero, where they will support the school sites and experience what daily life is like in rural Guatemala. Their free time and evenings will be spent in the colonial tourist town of Antigua. Volunteer work on this trip will include building a school in El Astillero.
Also take Econ 54H, a one-unit seminar on global poverty, with discussions led by economics instructor Brian Evans.
